We are a stage for films, live music, theater, exhibitions, visuals, DJs, and events, day and night. LAB-1 represents retro charm, coziness, dynamism, and creativity—a place to enjoy, hang out, and feel at home.
At LAB-1, you can work, game, chill, or relax with a drink in our cinema bar in the evenings. Enjoy the best Hollywood movies, music films, art-house films, classics, and documentaries in one of our five cinema halls, or attend a comedy night, concert, or event in our event space.
Cinema 1 offers a unique movie experience from the balcony, reminiscent of the 1970s! In Cinema 2, you can watch movies in a cozy boutique setting, while Cinema 2, 3, 4, and 5 provide personal in-room service. For the best parties, comedy shows, and quizzes, visit our club and event hall. Meanwhile, upstairs, you can settle into a seat for one of our movie marathons. We’re more than just a cinema; we’re a place where you can always find something to amaze you!
LAB-1 began temporarily in 2013 at the abandoned Philips Natuurkundig Laboratorium (Natlab) on Strijp-S and was also temporarily located in Eindhoven’s oldest building, Mariënhage, in 2017.
In 2018, we took over the former EuroCinema/Zien Bioscoop at Keizersgracht 19 in Eindhoven, and in February 2019, we opened our doors. This is our permanent home. We hope to see you soon!
