Who is LAB-1?

LAB-1 (hereinafter also: “we” or “we” or “us” or “our” or “ourselves”) is a trade name and a website of K19 Art Surroundings BV in Eindhoven. Privacy-sensitive data (hereinafter: “personal data” or “data”) is processed via our services.

By processing we mean all the use of your personal data, such as storing, adjusting, forwarding or (partially) deleting this data. We process personal data, for example, because you order tickets, use our websites or apps or because you participate as a participant in our events or because you have a subscription to one of our newsletters.

The purposes of data processing
LAB-1 / K19 Art Surroundings BV collects data from people who buy tickets from us, from visitors to our website and from subscribers to the newsletter for the following purposes:

  • To be able to send our newsletter to those who have registered for it in writing and to inform you about the programming and events in LAB-1 . For this we process your email address. The processing is done on the basis of match: the login.
  • In order to offer you the opportunity to buy tickets for the film programming, whether or not in groups, and to process your purchase and to inform you about its progress, we process your e-mail address and first and last name. This processing is done based on the purchase agreement.
  • Payment information. We work together with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) they are the controllers with regard to the payment service.
  • We use “session cookies” to keep you logged in while you use our platform, to better understand how you use our services and to monitor aggregate usage and information about web traffic on our platform.< /li>

Retention of data
LAB-1 does not store data longer than is necessary for the processing purposes. Data from visitors who have indicated that they wish to receive newsletters and/or direct marketing via e-mail from LAB-1  will be kept until the moment they unsubscribe.

Security and third parties
We take appropriate security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data. In this way we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is protected and that our security measures are regularly checked.

We use external service providers for various activities. LAB-1 naturally remains ultimately responsible for this. We do not use the e-mail addresses for other purposes and do not share them with third parties. To send the newsletters, we use Mailchimp, a marketing tool with which we send our newsletters. When selling tickets, we use the ticket sales system of Jewel Labs BV. We use the services of MultiSafepay to process payments. The data collected there is only used to send the tickets via email and to process the payment.

Newsletter
You can sign up for our newsletters. You can cancel this registration at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your permission.

We may change this Privacy Statement from time to time and will post an update here.

Your rights
You have the right to inspect your personal data and to rectify or erase the personal data or to limit the processing. You also have the right to object to the processing and the right to data portability. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
