Tired of city life, green-haired Maia (the fascinating Sarah Short) heads to the countryside, drawn by a deep desire to connect with the natural world. She finds work at an orange orchard, where she meets the eccentric, reclusive Teo (Michele Ragno), who immediately senses that Maia isn’t like everyone else. Devoting as much care to her as he does to his beloved trees, Teo helps Maia blossom under his watchful eye.

Dripping with sensual, vibrant imagery, Chlorophyll is a reimagined coming-of-age story — a reminder that humans and nature are deeply connected and must be appreciated, not possessed. In this richly colored story, Gloria awakens senses we didn’t even know we had, celebrating the magic that happens when we find someone who helps us discover our true selves.
