After four sold-out editions and packed cinema rooms, Craft Cinema Night returns to LAB-1 for its fifth edition.

On May 19th 2026 at 7:00 PM, we invite you to another cozy, creative film night, this time we present The Sheep Detectives, a witty and charming mystery in which a group of unlikely sheep take matters into their own hooves.

When something strange starts happening in their peaceful countryside, they form an amateur detective team to uncover the truth. What follows is a light-hearted adventure full of clever twists, humor and unexpected teamwork.

Pack your knitting needles, crochet hooks, embroidery hoops, or sketchbook and settle in. During this special screening, the cinema lights will stay softly on, so you can comfortably work on your project while enjoying sharp dialogue, iconic performances, and peak 90s vibes.

What is Craft Cinema Night?

During Craft Cinema Night, the lights stay slightly on and you are welcome to knit, crochet, draw, embroider or work on any creative project while the film is playing. No strict silence, no pressure, just a relaxed and cozy atmosphere where cinema and creativity meet. Bring your own materials and settle in for an evening that feels both social and intimate.

Craft Cinema Night has become a beloved recurring event at LAB-1, bringing together film lovers and makers in a shared, low-threshold setting. With each edition, we explore (retro) films that balance warmth, humor and visual charm, perfect for this unique format.
