PASSAGES
ENG SYNOPSIS:
After finishing his latest project, filmmaker Tomas (Franz Rogowski) plunges headlong into a heated affair with the young schoolteacher, Agathe (Adèle Exarchopoulos). For Tomas, being with a woman is a new, exciting experience that he is eager to explore, even though he is married to Martin (Ben Whishaw). But when Martin also starts a new relationship, the fickle Tomas turns his attention back to his man.
Set in contemporary Paris, Passages is about a turbulent love triangle in which desire is always present, but happiness is just out of reach. Director Ira Sachs made a breathtaking, intimate and convincing drama about the complexity, cruelty and conflicting feelings that come with love.
The film is English spoken with Dutch subtitles.

Wanneer de altijd nieuwsgierige filmmaker Tomas de jonge lerares Agathe ontmoet, stort hij zich halsoverkop in een gepassioneerde affaire. Ondanks zijn huwelijk met Martin is het samenzijn met een vrouw voor Tomas een nieuwe, opwindende ervaring die hij graag wil onderzoeken. Als Tomas' begeerte lijkt om te slaan naar liefde, zet dat zijn relatie met Martin op het spel.
