Craft Cinema Night #8: The Craft (1996)

After sold-out editions and packed cinema rooms, Craft Cinema Night returns to LAB-1 for its eighth edition, and this time, it’s our Halloween Special! 🎃

This October, things are getting a little darker. The Craft (1996) brings us peak 90s witchy girlhood, following four teenage outsiders who discover that their fascination with witchcraft comes with very real powers, and consequences. Dark, stylish and deliciously 90s, it’s the perfect cult classic for a Halloween night of crafting. 🖤

Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, sketchbook or any creative project and settle in. The cinema lights stay softly on, so you can craft while enjoying witchcraft, plaid skirts, teenage rebellion and plenty of 90s goth energy.

What is Craft Cinema Night?

During Craft Cinema Night, the lights stay slightly on and you’re welcome to knit, crochet, draw, embroider or work on any creative project while the film is playing. No strict silence, no pressure, just a cozy and social atmosphere where cinema and creativity meet.

Bring your own materials, embrace your inner witch and join us for a special Halloween Craft Cinema Night at LAB-1!

Would you like to learn more about knitting?

We are collaborating on this event with Antoñita Vázquez Muñoz, who is not only passionate about knitting and crocheting, but also dedicated to making organic fair trade wool more accessible. Antoñita will be waiting for you at a table by the cinema room 30 minutes before the screening. You can ask her for advice with your knitting, or simply talk about your shared passion. Feel free to discover more about her craft and her company.

Note: The Craft (1996) contains a sequence of flashing lights which might affect guests who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
