Three horror classics, one long Halloween night. LAB-1 brings The Ring, The Exorcist and Final Destination back to the big screen.
This Halloween, we are taking you through three very different kinds of horror. We begin with the early-2000s atmosphere of The Ring, continue with the demonic terror of The Exorcist (1973), and finish the night with the death traps of Final Destination.

18:45 - The Ring (2002)
You watch a videotape. The phone rings. Seven days later, you die.
When journalist Rachel Keller investigates the mysterious deaths of four teenagers, she discovers a videotape surrounded by a terrifying urban legend. Anyone who watches it receives a phone call announcing that they have only seven days left to live.
Gore Verbinski's American remake of Ringu became one of the defining horror films of the early 2000s, with its washed-out images, unsettling silences and the unforgettable figure of Samara crawling out of a television.
21:15 - The Exorcist (1973)
A young girl begins behaving strangely. Doctors find nothing wrong with her. Her mother turns to the church
When twelve-year-old Regan starts displaying increasingly disturbing behaviour, her mother Chris searches desperately for an explanation. Eventually, two priests are called to their Washington home to confront something medicine cannot explain.
William Friedkin's The Exorcist remains one of horror cinema's defining films more than fifty years after its release. What begins almost like a family drama slowly transforms into a confrontation with evil that permanently changed what mainstream audiences expected horror to show.
23:45 - Final Destination (2000)
Alex sees exactly how he and his classmates are going to die. Then he prevents it from happening. Unfortunately, Death has other plans.
After experiencing a terrifying premonition moments before boarding a plane, Alex Browning panics and is removed from the flight together with several classmates. Minutes later, they watch the plane explode. They survived, but soon the survivors begin dying one by one in increasingly bizarre accidents.
Final Destination turned an incredibly simple idea into one of the defining horror franchises of the 2000s: there is no masked killer to escape, because the killer is fate itself. And suddenly every loose cable, kitchen knife and suspiciously positioned object becomes a potential death trap.
